Between 2009 and 2012, Paul Duke photographed the men and women working in the Moray Firth fishing community on the North East coast of Scotland.
With the industry in sharp decline, Duke’s intense black and white portraits document the dignity of a way of life and capture these individuals at this critical time in this community.
Shot entirely on location, the portraits provide a valuable record of a generation in flux.
