Privacy
We will not ask for or keep information about customers, unless agreed
by both parties, other than is necessary to process orders, process refunds,
and provide information about products and about our events. We will not
disseminate personal information about customers to any third party. We
will comply with any customer's request to discard their telephone number,
e-mail address and their address by e-mailing info@beyondwords.co.uk
Transactions
All transactions are processed through Secure Trading. None of the details
of your card account are revealed to us. Your account will not be debited
until a title you have ordered is ready to be sent.
Order confirmation
& delivery
You will receive two email confirmations of your order. The first, from Secure Trading, confirms the
card transaction. The second, from our website, details the items you have ordered.
If we find that availability
of any title ordered is not as stated on the website, you will be notified
within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
All titles are listed
as being normally despatched within a certain number of days. If you order
more than one title and they have different despatch dates, we will aim
to despatch them together within the timescale given for the longest estimated
title. If you require one title sooner than another, you will need to
email us to that effect. Extra carriage will be charged for split deliveries.
If the book or books
are not available within the timeframes given on the site (because of
reprinting etc), we will check availability and email you with an estimated
date of delivery. You will be asked if you wish to wait for the goods
to arrive or to cancel.
When goods are ready
for despatch, we will email you with the estimated date of delivery.
Checking the status of your order
If an order has not been received by the estimated date of delivery, you
can e-mail us at info@beyondwords.co.uk.
We will investigate the matter and respond within 24 hours.
If the item does not arrive by 14 days after the estimated delivery date,
you may ask for a refund of the cost of the goods and the carriage.
Returns Policy
You may return goods if they are received damaged, or if the incorrect
item is delivered. They should be returned by the cheapest available method
of carriage. You will be refunded the cost of goods and the carriage once
we have received the goods. Please email info@beyondwords.co.uk to inform
us that the goods are being returned
Legal Rights
You are entitled to invoke your statutory rights under The Consumer Protection
(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Overseas orders
We will supply customs forms for all international orders, which list
the value, contents and description of items contained in the package.
All orders will be marked "Gift". The customer must pay any
customs or import duties levied once the package reaches an international
destination.
